The air we breathe connects us to Source, Spirit, God, Love, and Universe the moment we come out of the womb. Our lungs and belly hold such power that they can change moments, and those moments can change our lives.
WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Breathwork is a gentle, safe, and extremely powerful breathing process that releases stress from the cells of the body and helps to transform limiting thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. By removing layers of cellular trauma, you will be able to restore balance within your body. People practice breathwork for a variety of reasons. A large part of the appeal of the practice is its transformational power over the mind. Some practitioners claim mental improvements such as overcoming depression, managing addiction, and/or having a more compassionate view of themselves. A simple act of breathing more consciously can change your physiology and assist in manifesting your dreams.
TYPES OF BREATHWORK
Types of breathwork include:
Each type of breathwork offers amazing healing benefits and the modality of breathwork you choose is up to you. You may want to try a few of the techniques to see which one resonates with you the most.
Breathwork is a vital tool because it is one of the most clearly effective methods to access and transform limitations in the subconscious mind and the emotional body. Without some way of transforming yourself, the same patterns and behaviors repeat themselves and you become frustrated. Breathwork is important in the world because as we improve the quality of our lives and relationships we touch and affect all those around us. One of the most important things we can do for the world is to heal ourselves since the world we see outside of ourselves is merely a reflection of our inner selves.
According to Jessica Ourisman of Harpers Bazaar, ‘Breathwork Has Gone Mainstream During the COVID Era. From Justin Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow to Wim Hof and your favorite Insta influencer, having a breathwork practice is all the rage. But what is it exactly, and why are people so obsessed?’
WHAT DOES A BREATHWORK SESSION FEEL LIKE?
Offered in-person or virtually. You will need a private space to lie down and be comfortable. Pillows, blankets, lip balm, and water are also nice to have We offer individual and group sessions in person.
A 2-hour session focuses on guiding individuals into a non-ordinary state of consciousness to access parts of themselves that usually function outside of daily awareness. As a Clarity Breathwork Practitioner “The AH HA Breath” is used. HA is the Hawaiian word for breath. Through this type of breathwork, you practice circular or continuous breathing. Through continued practice, you may learn to have a greater awareness of the present moment.
We will start by discussing your intentions and what you want to explore.
Our first session includes a thorough interview in which we will explore and discuss your current life circumstances and your knowledge about your birth, childhood, and family patterns. You then set intentions for your session series. You will be guided to go for the breath with gentle music or silence and aromatherapy to your preference and the breathwork session will finish with a brief guided meditation.
During the breathwork session, you may experience some body sensations such as temperature tingling in the hands and arms. You may experience an emotional release and want to shed some tears or let out some sounds. These responses are perfectly natural and safe during a session. There are many benefits associated with breathwork therapy, but there are also certain risks associated with the technique. Whenever possible, consult your doctor before implementing breathwork therapy, especially if you have a medical condition or take medication that may interfere. This includes if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
